On Friday 4th October Sue Dunkerley will be exploring the process of developing work from an inspiring source or idea in “Oh Wow, Oh How – From Inspiration to Stitch”. Sue will talk us through some of the stages in taking work from conception to completion, with some of her work to illustrate the process. Hopefully, everyone will learn something to help them in their own work.
There are still a few places available on Marion McCrindle’s Journal Quilting workshop on 19th October. Create an A4 journal quilt illustrating an event in your year: a memory, something you have recently seen (e.g. from a walk or in your garden) or simply try something new. Suitable for all skill levels, but being familiar with your sewing machine would be helpful.
