The Beautiful Stitch: Textile Treasures of the Embroiderers’ Guild Collection

This long awaited exhibition will be at Buck County Museum from July 1st to October 28th 2017. The exhibition aims to do more than simply show these treasures.  Six themed sections will explore the history and background of the works allowing visitors to view with a greater appreciation of their context.

This is the first of what will be many changing exhibitions drawing on the EG Collection. At last an opportunity for us all to view and value this wonderful archive.

There will also be workshops and other events highlighting aspects of the exhibition.  I recently received some information from the museum about what is planned so far – you can view and download it here: BCM Events   or use the link to the exhibition above and navigate from there to the Events section.
